Warhammer 40k?
What are the best units to have in a 2,000 point Tyranid army?
And why?
I have 12 genestealers, a broodlord, a tyrant with wings, 16 termagaunts, 16 hormagaunts, 3 ripper packs, a lictor, 3 warriors, an old one eye, and 2 biovores with 3 spore mines.
what should i add or do with that?
Old One Eye is basically just another carnifex, these days.
Your major problem is going to be the lack of synapse creatures. With only a tyrant and 3 warriors, it would be very easy for those gaunts, biovores and genestealers to be left out of synapse range or even for the synapse creatures to be entirely killed off. That will leave your army lacking not only its fearless qualities but also its ability to ignore Instant Death rules.
Depending on exactly how many points you have left to play with, I’d suggest that a second Tyrant (perhaps with a squad of Tyrant guard), two squads of Warriors or 3 Zoanthropes would be your best investment to secure most battlefields.
If it were me, I’d go with the second Tyrant, just for the look on the opponent’s face when he realizes.
