Where can I get the models for Warhammer 40K 13th company Space Wolves?
I want to get an army of 13th company space wolves but it appears that GW has stopped production for these models. Any one knows where I can get some?
Well, the basic 13th Wolf Company battle brothers are made simply from a combination of Space Wolf and Chaos plastic kits, both of which are still very much available.
I presume what you mean, then, is the Wulfen. The boxed set was discontinued a couple of years ago and then the individual models were lost with the end of the loose components service. There’s a very good chance that, as GW gets its “bits packs” sorted with increasing efficiency, we’ll see them come back. But no guarantee. After all, the 13th Company army list is now officially defunct and the Space Wolf codex is no longer available from GW either.
It is anticipated that we’ll see the Space Wolves return as the first chapter to get an update after the new Space Marines codex in September – although whether that comes as a new printed codex or an online freebie, as with Blood Angels, is unknown.
Whether the Wulfen appear in any new codex seems quite unlikely, which may delay their return to the bits service.
On the other hand, they are awesome models and very popular, so maybe we’ll see them again.
In the meantime, keep one eye on eBay!
