Warhammer 40K Competitive Ork Army Build?
I would like to have some opinions on my ork army i have right now.
If you guys can give me ideas for what to buy or what to not use in my army please tell.
I’ve got:
150 Ork Boyz ( Most of them are shootas, I like the Dakka Dakka!)
1 Warboss
5 Nobz ( I don’t really use them)
6 Killa Kans
10 Lootas
10 Burna Boyz
3 Deff Koptas
20 Storm Boyz
5 Trukks
1 Battle Wagon
And Also I Would Like To Buy These Orks, Tell Me If There A Good Idea
Tankbustas
Another HQ Maybe A WierdBoy Or A Painboy
I frquently win tournaments with:
Bike warboss
KFF Mek
8 Nob bikers
9 Nobz
19 boyz

3 Kannons
10 Grotz
however it doesn’t fit your requirements.
I suggest buying aother battlewagon to transport boyz/nobz safely, have the deffkoptas a single units with rokkits and power klaw to outflank and hit tanks/heavy weapon teams in the rear armour etc.
Tankbustas…. no no no. Bar flash gitz, there are the worst unit in the ork codex. Painboy is very godd, but only if you use nobz as you cant take him by himself. Weirdboy is too fragile and there are better point for point characters out there. namely mek with force field.
The 6 killa kans are very good, but seeming as you have many ork boyz-, battlewagons and trukks would be better.
The trouble is, your army seems to be shooting heavy, which with orks, although can be fun, isn’t very competitive.
Again, your best bet would be 1 or 2 units of nobz in battlewagons, lotz of boyz in trukks, koptas and kanz.
