Warhammer 40k painting?
So I need help with painting a red ork trukk OK so I was advised to use merchite red blood red and blazing orange but im not sure what to do and how?
If you want a dried blood style red, then cover the whole vehicle with a flat black base coat and allow to dry. Paint each large surface blood red with solid coverage in the center and allow some of the black to show through at the edges. Use metal colors for detailing like bolts, equipment and rust.
If you want the red to really pop as a bright color, then use a blazing orange base coat, allow to dry and then apply the red to just cover the orange. When dry, the red should be very powerful.
Remember that Orks like bright colors but don’t take very good care of their toys – the colors should be strong, but there should always be rust, wear, dents, grease, etc.
