I would say you’re getting ripped off badly.
I guess it depends, if you are not tech saavy or are too lazy to hack it yourself, then you have no choice but to buy one that’s already hooked up. Even then, you are getting ripped off. I bought mine used in great condition for $120 two months ago. Since only the old PSPs (versions under 3.03) are the only ones that can be hacked, I figure the PSP you are looking for is only worth about $100ish dollars. The memory stick would only cost you like 50 dollars for a great one. So is it worth $400+ dollars or your time and money to have someone else hack and mod it for you? It isn’t hard – buy a used one for under $150 and follow these directions to hack it:
