Which Space Marine army is better?
I’m going to be fighting a tyranid player in a 500 point battle. I came up with two possible army lists. Which do you think is better? Or do I need a completely different army?
Army 1
100 -Basic Captain
120 -Predator w/ Autocannon and lascannons
75 -Scout squad all w/ sniper rifles
170 -10 man tactical squad
35 -Rhino
Army 2
144 -HQ (maybe a Librarian or Chaplain)
120 -Predator w/ Autocannon and lascannons
90 -Scout squad all w/ sniper rifles and camo cloaks
106 -6 man tactical squad
40 -Razorback

Actually, I’m almost certain my enemy’s army contains one carnifex and 3 warriors.
Army one with a few modifications.
Trade out those Lascannons as you wont be facing anything truely large like the Carnifexs or Broodlords, use Heavy Bolters instead.
The Scout squad could use some heavy punch, a heavy bolter could be good in there.
Put a couple of high fire rate heavy weapons on the tac squad and that will much down the hordes of bugs…
