what upgrades do you recommend for a smartparts ion?
im sold on the ion. i plan to buy one when i get the money. what parts should i get first? my idea was to get a cheap HPA tank (i cant afford the carbon tanks), an empire reloader or halo b, and a new barrel, maybe a 16″ progressive (not the most efficient, but i only play for fun, i think 16″ looks cool), or a freak system.
i use draxxus recsport paint, if that makes any difference.
speedball doesnt interest me much. i prefer doing woods with friends.
If you’re just playing for fun that setup sounds fine to me. But get a clamping feed neck, the stock one will just cause you grief. Also, a QEV and light-weight bolt will help with gas efficiency, just remember to lower the dwell setting once they are installed.
