warhammer 40k space marine chapters?
im completely new to warhammer. in getting a black reach set soon and i was wondering what chapter i should paint my space marines.
my favorite chapter are the ultramarines mainly because they are (in my option) the best looking. i know they are labeled as a noob chapter and whatnot but ive been researching chapters for 2 months and i honestly like them.
i also like the imperial fists for the same reason but ive heard yellow is very hard to paint. are they really that hard to paint?
what do you guys think i should choose?, im open to other chapters so feel free to comment.
If you like the Ultra Marines, by all means side with them. However, try looking into different chapters to see which tactic fits your style of play best. Imperial Fists and Salamanders are best at anti-tank. White Scars use attack bikes and drop pods for fast attack and blood angels excel at close quarters combat.
Overall, I’d recommend making your own chapter. It greatly increases the interest of the game and you don’t have to fit into any of the other chapters tactics.
I made my own Chapter. My tactic was to hunker down and keep the enemy at a long range and then use assault marines and dreadnoughts when they get closer.
