Which is the best laptop available in India in 30-40K range? Required for student. No heavy application reqd.?
Comp geeks please answer. My requirements are academic – net surfing, PP presentations, Wi Fi connectivity, Dvd drive n CD writer at least, 60 GB Hard drive.
Do not require heavy application based runs or graphics. Celeron is not preferable. May sggest any ongoing special offer in India.

The cheapest will be HCL.It will give u every thing u need plus more top end features.But less people buy them.Then comes Acer.it also has a lot of features,good looks and they are a rapidly growing company in India & around the world.they have good service support also.If both of these companies does not suit u then go for the most popular Compaq.They have the name.good service support.And at 38000Rs u will get a good system with 80 GB HD and more they r the best selling laptops in India.Dont go for Lennovo,Toshiba And Sony.Toshiba& sony lacks service support they may be reliable but r xtremly costly u could get the same quality frm Compaq.Dell has just come to India it is costly and lacks service support.I recommend Compaq and most of my friends uses that.
