Can I mix catachan, ogryn, and space marines in the same army in warhammer 40K?
I thing ogryns are catachans but i was wondering if it was possible to have a mixed army. Also if it is possible, is it realistic to have catachans fight in a different geography than jungle. Maybe i could just have them shoot from a distance since they have no armor.
Can someone please give me a detailed answer. I just want to know whether i have to choose between the two or can have combined assault

If you want a guard army for long range shooting, you would probably be better off with regular Imperial Guard than Catachans. Ogryns are part of the regular Imperial Guard codex, so I assume you can use them in a Catachan list (You would have to check the catachan codex though).
You can include space marines in a list with your guard, but they count as a seperate force and need to fulfil all the requirements (compulsory 1 HQ choice and 2 troops choices) so you would need a fairly high points limit game to use both forces at once.
