How can I beat an army of chaos daemons and space marines with my small Imperial guard army in Warhammer 40K?
I have: 2 squads of guardsmen, as well as a command squad, 2 thirds of a squad and 5 veterans a Leman russ battle tank a sentinel insurgency walker a chimera lascannon snipers and commisar.
Hmm. We need to know rather more information if we’re going to give a more useful question than “you can’t”.
How many points is your army? How many points is your opposing army? How is it that your opponent is running (chaos?) space marines and daemons in one army? Is he using the rules from the CSM codex for summoned daemons or is he actually using allies from the Chaos Daemons codex (which is, technically, against the rules)?
However, FWIW, I suggest: upgrade your commissar to be a commissar lord. Break your guardsmen, veterans, snipers (heavy weapons team?) and command squad up to be all veterans and spread your heavy and special weapons as evenly as you can through them. Put one squad of veterans in the Chimera.
Your Leman Russ is your main source of strength and is likely to be your opponent’s primary target, so position it behind cover and protect it with a screen of squads, accompanied by the Commissar Lord. Use the Sentinel as a roadblock sacrificial unit to plough into whatever your opponent’s got closest to the Leman Russ and use the Chimera and on-board veterans either to leap forward to seize objectives or to run interference like the Chimera.
