Fable 3 – Establishing driftwood?

Ok I am sure that I paid the guy the 750 to build a bridge hen I first met him. I wouldn’t not pay him but does he dissapear if you don’t pay him???
I then carried on the game and am now queen and completed the last bit etc. I am just going through all the quests let but I have a ! over what I know should be driftwood. I have gone up the small path to the side of Reavers mansion that goes round up a mountain type thing, I get so far and there is a gap, supposedly where the bridge should be built!
Is this the right place as I have spent hours trying to find it!!
Thing is I have since doing it become queen so it has been a whole year?!?!?!

yes your are in the right spot if you gave him the money then it should be built in about a week or so of game time, once you get there you will have to complete 4 or 5 quests and then you will get the achievement for establishing driftwood.
