can you ally multiple armies with an imperial guard army in warhammer 40k?
i don’t really understand the rules for allying armies to imperial guard, i was wondering if you can ally space marines AND witch hunters AND daemonhunters instead of just one or the other, also wondering about allying space wolves
The rules for allies in Warhammer 40,000 are pretty simple: you can’t.
The only exceptions are Witch Hunters and Daemonhunters, which can be taken as allies in either an Imperial Guard *or* Space Marine force, or which can take Space Marines *or* Imperial Guard as allies in their own army.
These rules apply only and exclusively to forces chosen from Codex: Imperial Guard and Codex: Space Marines. Other “Marine Equivalent” codexes (Black Templars, Space Wolves, Blood Angels, Dark Angels etc) may not be allied with, nor may they take as allies, forces from Codex: Daemonhunters or Codex: Witch Hunters.
