Warhammer 40k carnifex question, How many shots do I get.?
A carnifex has 2 attacks per turn and since it’s a monstrous creature it can fire two weapons each turn. I want to know How many shot I get total for the following situations.
1. I have a venom cannon equipped (it is assault x so it gets 2 shots).
2. I have a venom cannon and a barbed strangler (the strangler is assault 1 so it gets one shot)
3. I have 2 sets of twin-linked devourers (each set is assault 2x so they get 4 shots).
and, do I get to fire the single venom cannon twice in a turn and if so does it get 2 or 4 shots total. There is a bit of debate to this and the gamesworkshop people were a little ambiguous in their answer over the phone.
1. With the single venom cannon you only get 2 shots.
2. You get 2 shots with the venom cannon and 1 with the barbed strangler.
3. You get 4 shots, re-roll missed shots, for the devourers.
The reason i know this is well i have fought Nids many times.
And i tend to read everything i can about a enemy it helps me beat them.
But on a other note i would play more gene-stealer’s instead of the Carnifex. But that’s all you.
