i know the pokemon aren’t at the highest level but im getting there.
Cool team. Now to fix up your moves:
Torterra:
I don’t know why it needs both Energy Ball and Razor Leaf because they’re both Grass type moves. BUT… since Energy Ball is special and Razor Leaf is physical, maybe that’s why you decided to keep both. But keep in mind Razor Leaf is somewhat weak despite the high critical hit ratio and if you are going to battle other people with Wi-fi, Wood Hammer might be more useful. You can get Wood Hammer by using a Heart Scale and giving it to that guy in Pastoria. Also, to deal with Flying types, you can give Torterra Stone Edge, but Stone Edge might miss… Other options include Rock Polish (to double speed) or Swords Dance (to double Attack) or Curse (raise attack AND defense but lower speed). They should all replace Energy Ball. My Torterra’s moves are:
- Crunch
- Earthquake
- Wood Hammer
- Rock Polish
Lucario:
Flash Cannon isn’t very useful, despite getting STAB. Aura Sphere already handles Rock and Ice types, which are Flash Cannon’s only advantage. Try Vacuum Wave instead. Although it is fighting move like Aura Sphere, it can sometimes help to go first. If not (since it is a hereditary move), teach it Calm Mind instead. As for Shadow Ball, you may want to keep it because of those Fighting Pokemon, but then again, Ghost moves are super effective against Psychics and Ghosts. Dark moves are super effective against… Psychics and Ghosts. Okay seriously, what was Nintendo thinking? The only advantage Ghost moves have over Dark moves is the fact that it can hit Fighting types without them resisting it, while Dark moves DO affect Normal types as opposed to Ghost moves which doesn’t. Dark Pulse CAN be an alternative choice, but since you already have Aura Sphere, just keep Shadow Ball.
Charizard:
Flamethrower AND Heat Wave? Stop teaching Pokemon the moves that are of the same types (unless their primary usage isn’t for attacking, but…) You can replace either one (Flamethrower is stronger, but Heat Wave may burn more) with Rock Slide for more coverage. Actually, it might be better to ditch Fly (since Fire moves already cover Grass and Bug types anyways) and get rid of Flamethrower or Heat Wave and replace with Sunny Day and Solarbeam combo. Your Charizard seems to be oriented in the special attack direction except Earthquake. I was going to suggest Belly Drum, but it can’t learn that unless bred.
Dragonite
First off, Dragonite is MUCH more powerful physically. Here’s an option. First off, the only move to keep is Outrage. Outrage is REALLY powerful on Dragonite. Now, we need other moves to make it a really powerful physical sweeper. Let’s see… Dragon Dance? Precisely! We can also use Heart Scales to bring back either Fire Punch or Thunder Punch… or both! That is, unless you want WATERFALL, the physical water move. You can also teach it Fly or Wing Attack or Aerial Ace. Other than that, we need Dragonite to be more physical than special.
Lapras:
Surf AND Hydro Pump?? Choose one! I prefer Surf, but on Lapras, maybe Hydro Pump might be better because of extra power and all. Replace one of them with Thunderbolt or Thunder. Use Thunder ONLY if you are going to use Rain Dance along with it. There.
Gallade:
Good moves. I like this one.
