Good animal fantasy books for 9th grade and up?
Im looking for some good animal fantasy books like The Sight or Watership Down. Im not really picky as long as the animals are actually acting like animals (please no Redwall books). I just don’t want animals to be holding swords, no offence to people who like those books. Also, I don’t mind blood or language. Thanks a bunch 
Try the Silverwing saga, (3 or 4 novels) by Kenneth Oppel. There’s also the Blood Jaguar by Michael H. Payne. If you liked the Sight, you’ll love Fire Bringer, by the same author (David Clement-Davies).
There’s also The Wolves of Time (2 books) by William Horwood.
