AION Questions help!?
1. Is Aion like wow in the way where there is a whole world, not like Warhammer in the way which every landscape is seperate, but like wow in the way there is a whole world. Like none of that teleporting to new areas and stuff.
2. If you played the betas was it good? Can you tell me a bit about the player you played..
3. Whats the fighting style like..? I know where is combos and such, but can you fight another player while running away from them then do some charge and jump behind them and still move while attacking?
4. Whats your opinion on it..?
5. Are the classes fairly balanced…? E.g. I wanna be a warrior, but im afraid of them doing something like wow, and make warriors one of the worst classes, being able to kite easy..
6. Can you kite? I enjoy kiting and it makes the game more interesting.

1. There is a “whole world” in Aion yes. But it is not exactly like WoW. There are two races in Aion. Eylos and Asmodians. The Eloys occupy the lower half of the world, whilst the Asmodians the upper. In the middle there is the Abyss where mass pvp takes place as well as PVE.
So is the world like wow? In the sense you can run for a long time and always get to new places? Yes. Structured like wow with islands all over the place? Not exactly.
2. I played a little bit of the closed beta and will be playing the Open beta when it comes out at the end of the week. From my little play time I can tell you that it was a lot of fun. The graphics and animations are beautiful and captivating. The fact that it is a new and fresh game that has it’s own feel to it makes it a lot of fun.
3. I never really pvp’d other than dualing. But that system seems to be well made. As far as running away and doing some “charge and jump” behind them I did not play a class that could do this. Nor did I play high enough to see such things but there are videos of such things. I have seen one of a Sin that did a move that was similar to shadow step (if you played wow). There are also moves that pull players to you, fear etc. Depending on what you play.
4. I think it’s a very well made game that will do extremely well holding it’s own against the well polished, years old WoW. It’s a great change from playing the same old game over and over.
5. All the classes are balanced in the sense they all can do what they are made for extremely well. Gladiators ( the class similar to a dps warrior) will be good in their own ways, such as putting out damage. Compared to other dps they may lack in some areas but dominate in others.
6. Yes, you can kite on some/most of the classes.
