Should i assemble my warhammer 40k Orks before painting, or paint first?
title says it all really, should i be painting all the peices like the legs, arms, head and torso seperately before glueing, or assembling them then painting them as a whole? i’ve tried both, but both models turned out suckish (that is most likely my lack of talent however) any help would be appreciated, thanks
It is standard to assemble them first. For a start, this gives you the chance to cut away all of the excess plastic, trim away any mould lines and fix them to their bases without disturbing any paint.

For beginners, you can’t go wrong with a combination of drybrushing and washes.
