in warhammer 40k Iam starthng a new necron army and have played me old rival but …?
he has always killed me with lascannons and i need to get an army list and at the moment i have 40warriors a lord the nightbringer 3 destroyers and 10 scarbs and i planned too get two heavy destroyers a tomb spider and a monlith so if any one can help me please answer
You have 40 warriors and he kills you with lascannons? How many lascannons does this guy have??
I would suggest dropping a squad of warriors and going for some more destroyers and another monolith in their place. Abandon the Nightbringer entirely and build up the army with some Immortals and then more Warriors (add that fourth squad back into place).
Your Monoliths should shrug off lascannon fire most of the time. Engage the best-placed lascannon positions with scarab swarms and use the Monolith portals to leapfrog your squads forwards. You could add a Shroud to the Lord (I assume he already has a res orb?) to add mobility, allowing your to further tie up enemy heavy weapons in combat with Warriors and your Lord, whilst the remaining Warrior squads seize objectives. The destroyers should then focus on enemy armour and isolated characters. Meanwhile, the Immortals role is to annihilate enemy Troops units to remove their objective-seizing ability.
