Painting 40K with washes?
Can I get battle quality miniatures with any army using mostly washes? I saw a video of a guy using 95% washes (the other 5 was detailing and most of those were mixed with a wash) on an ork and was wondering if that same technique could be transfered over to any other army like the space marines or eldar?
If not then what armies work best with what techniques? I’m not looking for Golden Demon quality models, just good enough to look right on a board. Please and thank you.
Yes, 40k is very well suited to the liberal use of washes. The monochromatic nature of most Space Marine chapters also lends itself to washes.
